Although they'd be the roughest riding, H&R sports are the best handling spring you can buy.
Eibach's end up being about as soft as a stock spring.

Otherwise, I chopped the dead coil out of my front springs, and that dropped me between 1/2 to 3/4", which makes the car sit a little nicer. It's not instantly noticeable though.

Yeh i run Eibachs and love them too they are stiffer then stock but not too stiff for daily driving. also i wouldn't recommend cutting off a coil its not the safest thing to do and here in Quebec u can get a pretty big fine for doing so. Also while changing the springs u should look into getting some new struts at the same time like some kyb's

I agree it's not, but it's only the dead coil, not an active one. The spring is still held firmly in place by the tab on the spring seat on the strut, and hasn't moved since I chopped it probably 15k kms ago.

The front is a pinch stiffer and the rear is a progressive rate that is MUCH softer at first then goes to being a bit stiffer than stock as well.

soooo im assuming if i get some drop springs at 2-2.5 inches i can keep my stock struts? The only thing im worried about is the wheels being angled like this ---> /--\

I am going to agree with rudy on that one at the top of this thread ...

I have the prokit on my Sc2 from Eibach and they were nice before, but because the car has been sitting over the winter i've noticed that they're a bit bouncier then they were before.

However i'm riding on an H&R kit on my GTi and the quality of ride is insane..i might even consider changing the saturn's springs to H&R which will mean my eibachs would be on sale for a cheap cheap price hehe :P

But yea i deffinetely agree with rudy !

Good post rudy :D
