so your saying that when I get my car painted in 2 weeks (hopefully) that I can't wax it? Looks like my last 2 shows the car will show up dirty. Now I have an excuse :D.

yea thats just what i heard not to use any wax or spray detailer because its like a sealer on the paint and i guess the paint needs to cure or what not, i just did it to be safe cause i didn't want fish eyes all over my paint lol!!! but yea i did wash it, washing it def won't hurt it!!!

if they dont bake it it has to cure, to be honest tho i actually waited a couple of weeks before i waxed my red car, it wasnt 6 weeks, maybe 2 or 3, but i was told i can do it the night i took it home..

Sarahs car tho, we waited 6 months, then procrastinated.. unfortunatly we waited so long we had to claybar it first, there was soo many contaminante in the paint.

eitehr way ask the painter, and take his advice, he's the one that just spent all the time on it\

just a month i woudlnt worry about it too much, and technically you should be able to wash and wax the part that they didnt paint.

we only had to clay bar cause we waited like 6 months or more, and had winter use in there too.

you can tell by feeling the paint if you need to clabar o rnot, the paint will feel rough
