Whats up guys ... since no one has posted in here lately and it seems like it was getting lonely lol ...

What might you all think if I were to customize a section on the dash for two gauges ...

on my 2001 SC2 the climate controls are at the bottom below the radio .. i was thinking about taking them out and putting in an air/fuel gauge and a volt gauge in that area .. i was going to make a gauge wall so that it would fit perfectly ..

and for those that will ask ... no i dont use my climate controls cuz i dont drive the car in the winter and i dont use the AC in the car nor do i use air ... lol :d

let me know ! .. positive and negative feedback welcomed !

HAHA YESSS wasted space thanks Adam great way to put it :D ... Yeah I'm more then likely going to pick up a Autometer volt gauge, Autometer wideband air/fuel and I saw a nice autometer smart shift gauge that looked pretty cool .. but i dont need another RPM gauge in my car lol .. so we shall see ! .

Thanks guys

why not move the climate control to the glove box. I've seen that done to alot of cars that get screens and what not molded into the dash. Just incase you ever want to use those features atleast you'll have them somewhere

Do you not drive in the rain drew? cuz I know that the blower is a life saver on rainy days.

hehe Jay .. The car hasn't seen rain since May 2006 :| lol .. I have a second daily driving car so when it rains i just take out the sunfire aka sunflower ... so again thats not an issue .. I should of mentioned that as well . but thanks for bringing it up just the same ! ..

And adam that is an idea since that is what i professinalize in ... but it will deffinetely be taken into consideration .. the only thing stopping me would be the PS2 in the glovebox already . limited space and probably wouldn't be the greatest when i show off the PS2 at shows...

Put your guages up where the two vents are in the centre right now!! That way you can keep your controls just in case you do get caught in the rain. (Good point Jay).

Also highway driving. I don't know about you guys, but I have to have the windows shut on the highway, and I like to breathe, so I always have the blower going for that too :)

If you don't need it, I would get rid of it...but place it in the glove box just in case. I drive mine in any weather condition...a car is meant to be driven. My car was winter driven up until this winter. If your paying $100/month for insurance, it would suck to use it so little.

i coulda put it in Electrical and ICE, or Perfoamnce, but either one is not 100% accurate.. so General it is...
