Just wondering what ignition wires should i get? I got Iridium plugs.. BEFORE i found the NGK copper plugs online.. And also, what intake should i get? I was looking at the AEM, Iceman, or Weapon R Dragon short ram systems, but I'm not sure which exactly is the better sounding or performing? I have a $225 USD budget for the intake so any of them are affordable enough, but which is best by your opinions? Thanks..

Intakes are intakes on a stock s-series Saturn, not really any tech breakthroughs with designs. IMO look at Ebay for intakes, cheaper and they work just as good.

As for wires, unless you are going to upgrade the coil packs, again going with a OEM style is fine. I have used bosch in the past, as well as a couple other companies.

Ok. well.. I was planning on upping to accel, or better (What other brands are there?), coils too.. and it'll be stock for a while.. but I'm planning on getting a new cat-back exhaust system and/or a high-flow header and catalytic converter depending on which of the three I can afford first.. Some more newb-ish questions though.. What should be first with probably like 7-12 month gaps between mods: manual tranny(About how much for parts?), cat-back exhaust, header, and/or cat.. which is worth the money first?.. That's all my questions for now I guess.. Sorry for any stupid, overly-asked questions lol.

Just buy cheap, parts store ignition components, and only replace things if something breaks. Stock ignition parts are good for 300+ horsepower and 200k+ kilometers, and "upgrading" them won't get you any more power. Not even 1hp. Always use NGK copper plugs with turds, but since you already have the iridiums, keep them until they fart, then buy coppers.

If you actually want to go faster, a manual is your best bet. It's probably cheaper to sell the car and buy a manual than to swap.

A complete exhaust would be your next best bet, but that's $500 (or more) and will get you maybe 6hp. You won't feel much difference, and you'll still be running high 16's in the 1/4 mile, slower than a lot of cars out there.

The mod that will make the biggest difference to your everyday driving will be tires and rims. Lightweight 15" or 16" rims (under 13lbs a piece) and sticky summer tires will make a world of difference.

I've been there and done that, just trying to save you money :)

Lightweight crank pulley is cheap and makes a big difference, but for me it kept eating rear main seals, so there is that problem.

Manual, sticky tires and light rims like Rudy said are good.

A cheap crush bent 2.25" exhaust would help, I used to run 15.6 on just intake/throttlebody and a crush bent 2.25" exhaust with a cheap ass muffler (on a manual), so they can be allright for cheap.

OR should i take the oldest car in my family.. the 97 SL2 AUTO w/ over 100,000 miles that my sis drives?.. EH.. srry, randon rambling xD
