I figure since I am new, I would not feel right taking another persons spot, so if you have any room at the end of it all, then sign me up. I have a ton of high res pictures of my car.

Hahaha, yes i bet you do have some high res pics, i loved the jco pics you took... Did you ever reply and tell me what kinda camera you have?

as for the pics that jj19902003 attached, i suggest if you want to use your own pictures in the calander you shoudl take some pictures ion a realyl nice sunny day, with the sun behind the shooter (no siloetting) and find a nice backdrop (this goes for everyone)

here's the pictures i used for my Idol Creations Canalders a few years back.

Feb, May and Sept (ther eall posted in chronological order) i dont really like those months .. Feb was a photograph that was scanned, so the size was not correct, and other cars in the picture
May, as ive sid before, shopping cart tipped over, oil spil in the road.. those 2 i did not take.

the Sept one i took, but the sun was setting and we couldnt take it from the angle we wanted, the backlight caused the view we wanted to be really blacked out

I think if we are going to do this... we need someone with a good camera (hint hint londonxr3) to take some sweet pics of everyones cars and then we get together as a mod team and choose the best photos to put in there. Not necessarily who puts their name in. If someone wants a month and their photo is chosen, then they can have that month. Thats what I would like to see happen anyway. I think it is a fair way to have it all go down if we have more than 12 people who want to do it.

Well, I think for U.S. guys or anyone who can't make a shoot, just send in some high res clean pics. Then everyone can enjoy the pics of all the cars.

well seeing as the pictures i get are low quality posted on here, i cant use themm.. Rememebr these have to be blown up to make it to 8.5 x 11 inches... you need a higher res / larger picture so it can be shrunk down.

I have some pictures in ym Email i have to get to, but for anyone emailng me them, make sure your camera is set tot eh absolute HIGHEST setting. and Btw a 1.3 MP camera i dont think is goign to cut it.

Remember these things

If its a Sunny day, make sure the Sun is BEHIND the shooter, as to not create a siloette of the car
Center the Car, the printing will be Full Bleed style, meaning its printed PAST the edges of the paper, and anythign rigth on the edge MAY be trimmed out (cropped)
No garbage on the ground, i wil reject a photo for not having a clean back drop
CLEAN THE CAR!!!
Try to avoid Overcast days as they dim teh photo (i dont want to adjust the picture digitally) as natural as possable
I will go take a crappy pic of my car ni a few mins to show what i can do for quality with my camera

EDIT!:::

Ok here is the same shot of my car with 2 different camera settings

first.. Low Res (Quality setting = Good *)

Second .. High Res, (Quality Setting = Best ***)

Ok, i just got back froma photo Shoot with Sarah and Sean (GHSTRIDR and blazinsc1)
Tooks lots of Photos, a couple were usable (thast how picky i was lol)

anyway, i started editing them up, and think i came up with a nice CLEAN solution for teh calander design / layout.

since i do NOT want anyone to know what shots make it into the calander until it comes out (HINT DO NOT POST YOUR PICS IF I SEND YOU SAMPLES!!!) So i created a sample with my car... cause who cares its not making it in i know that lol

check it out

as you can see, the border and the text is a greyish colour (as clsoe as i can get to silver anyways) so what it'll be is colour matched to your car (as best i can)
the Border ends att he O6P Logo as to not interfear with it, and then continues again afterwards...

what do you think?

P.S. the shots i got of Sarah and Seans car look AMAZING!!!!
P.P.S. the image i attached was scaled down to save on bandwidth ;)
