Ok, here's the low down on what im thinking.

We are currently running phpBB2 (old outdated software) the reason i have not yet upgraded to phpBB3 is because of the garage, there was not a working garage upgrade last time i checked.

However, teh Garage works flawlessly on phpBB3 (new software) as far as ive heard. So installing it and using it is not an issue, the issue is transfering all of the Garage data over to the new system.

I want to know what ppl prefer.

Stick with the current setup

Wait for a upgrade option for the garage

Upgrade to the new software and start the garage from scratch

option 3 is what i don't want to have to do, but unfortulatly is looking liek the option right now.
this means that everyone would have to re-upload their photos, car information etc to the garage.

(all photos would be available to download, so you dont have to go hunting for them again)

Please note, that ANY thing that happens will NOT AFFECT THE CURRENT POSTS AND ACCOUNTS
your accoutn will still be here, and will still have all the boards post, its JUST THE GARAGE that would be blanked out

please... VOTE and let me know

stupid phpbb3, i installed it yesterday, and the site has had soo much spam in a matter of hours.... i have to take care of the spam before i move over to hte new software, it took alot of work to get the bots under control here, (there still here you just cant see the posts)

i seem to have found a modification that should do the same thing as here, it justs says 2 hours to install :( not what i wanna do tonight

Yeah it was my idea!! Holla!!! I figured it would create more action on this site since most Saturn owners seems to hibernate in the winter and make excuses as to why they cant go to meets or fix their cars in the summer!!! Ok, Ok, so it may not be the kind of traffic you really want but who cares. There is no such thing as bad press!!! Go Hello Kitty!!!! " uh oh...HOT-DOG"...ding...."HOLLA")

here's where im at right now...

I had a really nice looking layout installed, but the template was very hard to edit... it was more of a pain in my ass than it was worth...

I found another nice looking one, and installed it... (no neither was the hello Kitty,)

anyways here's a screen shot of what the new layout is... image it with the o6p logo rather than the default wording att he top (i cut it off anyways)

any comments? or even ideas for other templates? basically its just a startiung point, then you can tweak it from there.

im still looking, i found one exactly liek the current board... so close that most poeple might not even notice the site was upgraded, just think it was design tweaks, but im thinking if we are upgrading, we might as well freshen up the look around here.

im open to any suggestions too, im not the best at designing a look for forums, so im kinda just browsing around
