For those that dont know me, hi....I'm Mark.
I have been very busy and have made a page to show all my hard work on my project SL1

http://www.vueboi.27south.com/sl1project.htm

Its not a step by step DIY but it gives you an idea what is involved and time and parts needed

Here is a basic list of most tools and parts u will need:
Parts:
DOHC motor
Trans, auto or manual, and PCM to match
wiring harness for above
new clutch, throwout bearing, engine mounts if needed

Tools:
7,8,10,13,15,18,21 mm deep and shallow sockets
breaker bar/johnston bar
really big pry bar
clutch alignment tool
patience
drain pan and some empty jugs (4L coolant, 2L trans, 4L engine oil,)
jack stands and jack or 2 stock jacks
cardboard...to lay on and catch things u drop
engine hoist...or some way to pick the thing up
engine leveling jig or some chain
misc hand tools, knives, sawsall incase your exh is a bitch (u want a new header anyways!)
i think this covers most of it

Any questions please ask...
Mark

I am working on reducing the pic sizes right now...
Update- all pics are 10 times smaller ~ 300k instead of 3mb

no idea, purrs like a kitten tho
the high idle you have in the drag wag is because of the blocked off egr valve...
with mine blocked off it was idling at 2, 000 to 2,500
after removing the block off plate, it idles down to 800 like it should
will let u know when i pass etest...gonna try for monday or tuesday
