K guys, havin a hard time figuring why the fack my reverse lights arent workin..here's what I got so far..
Ignition is in ON position, whether in reverse or neutral (5 spd) I'm gettin 5.9v at the plug to the switch and 3v at the reverse lights themselves..neither light works either. I'm also getting 5 volts at the fuse in the underhood fuse panel..SO I'm led to believe there is a break/corrosion in a wire somewhere..

Any input? Would help a LOT!

Also thinking of just running 2 new wires and by-passing it.. where would I do it though..at the plug? or?

Mine was the switch/sensor on the transmission.

Unfortunately for him it does not look like its the switch :(.
The power goes from the fuse box to the switch and then to the lights, he has 5v at the fuse which means the problem lies before the fuse.
I had that with my foglights on my old coupe, instead of tearing open the harness into the interior I just ran a new clean power source to the fuse.
